Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Title 1 school with a large English language learner population. Most of my students are curious about the world around them and in science we need supplies to provided them with hand on activities and labs.

Students love creating posters and projects to display what they are learning in the science classroom.

My project is for supplies for students to be creative and expressive in their work.

My students get excited when there is a lab or demonstration and I want to increase engagement with getting more activities for hand-on learning.

My Project

Students will be creating posters and manipulatives about concepts they have learned in science. Students love to be creative with colors and to express what they learn they need these items. Many of my students can not afford supplies to bring to school or have at home. The supplies for this project will allow students to be engaged to learn using their artistic side. The colored paper is to engage their mind and help concepts stick. The envelope is to make manipulative activities to practice their learning. The markers, and scissors are to help in both the poster activities and manipulatives. Help my students be creative.
