Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The school library is one of the most popular places on campus, and we've been working hard to keep it up-to-date and relevant. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the recent affordable housing crisis, many students are forced to suddenly withdraw and don't have a chance to return their library books.

With hundreds of books missing over the last two years, we're trying to replace some of the more popular titles.

We can hardly keep titles like Diary of a Wimpy Kid or Pete the Cat on our shelves, so every single copy counts! With this project, we'll be able to replace those crucial missing copies and get them in the hands of more readers.

Your generosity helps fill those gaps on our library shelves, and will continue to excite our students about books and becoming lifelong readers.
