Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are willing and able to learn anything they set their minds to. These students are inner-city, primarily new to the country, and usually cannot afford toys or basic daily necessities. They need a bit of motivation to help them through and keep their positive energy flowing.

Our school recently initiated a reading program for struggling readers and they tend to be most motivated when they are rewarded with fun prizes and sensory toys.

I hope that motivating them with a fidget, pen or small educational item will help them continue with their "remarkable reading"!
