Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach English at an alternative school. It is my responsibility to prepare my students socially and academically to be able to return back to their previous school. It is imperative that my students know how much I love them, and care about their school experience. When my new students enter my class, I want them to be motivated and inspired.

It is impossible to learn and focus when your mind clouded.

The rug and beanbag chair will go in my cool down corner. The snacks will be an incentive in my class store. The rest of my list will support me in teaching and intervening. I appreciate any and all support. It truly takes a village to change a child’s life.
