My Project

I teach English language learners how to read and write. We are a growing school community and we don't have a classroom. We work in the hallway and don't have access to technology. I work with 6 students at a time and they hover around my laptop to see the lessons.

Many of the students are newly arrived immigrants and refugees and this creates a barrier to learning.

Many children lose focus and get distracted when they can't see what's on the computer screen. Help us get a projector that will display what is on my laptop. As a teacher, I can more seamlessly teach and navigate slideshows where my lessons are housed. Children can easily engage and participate in lessons when their vision is not obscured by other children vying to see the laptop screen. This projector will be an absolute game changer in regard to learning and implementing lessons!
