My Project

Our low-income students deserve a learning environment that fosters focus and comfort, and a new set of chairs will provide them with the sturdy, supportive workspace they need to thrive academically. The chairs they have now are broken and ripped. The students say, time after time, that the school resembles a prison. I am doing my best to make the classroom feel like a home. New chairs for the newly painted tables would foster a home-like atmosphere. I believe that the school's decor is partially the reason for a student's success. If they feel welcome, loved, and comfortable, they are more inclined to succeed within the class.
