My Project

Students will learn that they are blessed to be a blessing to others. By giving their time and energy, they can help serve others in the community and build empathy for others.

Students will be introduced to a community service opportunity called Project Linus where they can use simple sewing, embroidery, and tying skills to help bring security to local children in need.

This project will provide the materials, tools, and space to carry out this activity before the winter. The students will be introduced to an embroidery machine to add a special touch to each blanket.
