My Project

Our students have formed a group of kids who want to help other kids by spreading kindness. The Kindness Club has sent out paper flowers to the staff showing their appreciation to them. They send out notes to other students to cheer them up and let them know someone is thinking about them.

Kindness is choosing to do something that helps others or yourself, motivated by genuine warm feelings. 

How can we spread one act of kindness each day? The students enjoy creating fun crafts and sending positive notes to their friends about kindness. Our students spread kindness at school, at home, and in the community. Spreading kindness is important throughout the year. The items I am requesting will allow the Kindness club to spread kindness throughout the year, at each holiday.

Our club is going to paint the birdhouses and share them with the school and community gardens in our area. Birds that eat insects, like swallows, can be attracted to the garden with a birdhouse. This can help keep the insect population in the garden under control.

The play-doh, activity books, and brain teasers are going to be put together to make goodie bags for students throughout the school that are struggling. These items are going to provide comfort and hope to students going through difficult times.

The stress toys, puzzle toys, hair brush and mini picture frames are going to be added to our donation to our Comfort and Hope community program. This program gives hope to children who are in foster care with items they need.
