My Project

There are so many new games that are being created/played on a yearly basis. My goal is to keep my students up to date on the games that we all might see being played at parks and or family gatherings. Spike ball is a game that I see being played a lot. I remember one of my kids asking me about the game because they seen it being played on TikTok. They thought it was pretty fun to watch but felt that it was too expensive to purchase. Speed Minton is also another game that a few of my students thought was too expensive to play because no one they knew had the money to purchase it. Most kids growing up in today's society feel that these new games that they are seeing for the very first time, are not accessible because of expenses. This is a huge opportunity for our kids to not only stay updated on new games of 2024, but also getting the hands-on experience of actually playing these games, without having that self-conscious thought of how much it may cost. The agility hurdles and resistance bands will be added in our new updated lesson plans for my 6th graders. I am a pre athletic coach for a middle school, which means I have the obligation to get my 6th graders ready for 7th and 8th grade sports. And with agility & flexibility being a center piece to overall athleticism, this will be a huge opportunity for me to help develop my kids to grow as athletes. Having multiple sports on my campus, the wagon will help me maneuver cones, balls, etc. around campus or other campuses we may have games at for each sports season.
