My Project

The resources for this project will allow my students to plan and implement a community service activity that will benefit both my students and the community. The Spin wheel will be utilized to engage with the community and peers by having student generated questions circulating mental health and the spirit of compassion. Peers will spin the wheel, learn, share, and receive inspirational stickers, journal notebooks, inspirational wristbands, etc. These items will be tangible reminders to lead with kindness and compassion. This student-led community service activity will engage in acts of kindness, awareness, and service. Students will have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others and build a sense of unity within our community. My students will develop a deeper understanding of how we can work together to address issues that affect our community, strengthen leadership skills, and model to a commitment to making a positive impact. Be kind and lead with ALOHA.
