Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a public city school district. Scholars are diverse multiple language learners and readers. The kids are warm, loving, and continually searching for ways to grow and become better each day. I am honored to teach such wonderful children.

In the library learning commons, I enjoy providing scholars with a multitude of experiences to connect the curriculum and enhance their learning while promoting equitable access and allowing them to be creative while stimulating their curiosity.

We are requesting an enclosed CNC machine for the fabrication lab for innovation, creation, and making. We will make, create, tinker in the fab lab. Making allows students to problem-solve and regroup. The CNC will allow students to make things they dream about. Learning will go to the next level in the library learning commons. Making fosters critical thinking and kids get a chance to create versus consume. Thank you for your time, consideration, and support of public-school children and school libraries.
