Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My goal this school year is to help my students make the most progress that they have yet. Too often, kids are looking to be perfect or expected to perform at such a high-level. My goal is that they leave the year a little bit better than when they started. I want them to feel like I am someone they can trust, school is somewhere where they are safe, and they know who they are and how to express themselves.
My students are often the ones that teachers think are difficult, but my students are the students that have the potential to change the world.
No matter what past years look like they have what it takes to become amazing people. We will work closely together all year for us all to become kinder, more rounded individuals. My students need markers for supplies, wipes to keep the room clean, books to read and some games and snacks for incentives.
