Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is Title I with 100% poverty, many students do not have access to technology outside class. Technology equipment will allow students to work outside of class to complete homework assignments. Your donation will help our Robotics team in all subject areas.

My Project

These Dot and Dash robots will highly support the amazing Welch Middle School Robotics Team to program each robot in order to compete in various Tech Challenges. Students will have the opportunity to apply individual skills to each Dot and Dash robots. The reason we need multiple robots is to develop the students' programming skills and expand their creative process. These Dot and Dash robots will allow students to work outside of class to complete homework assignments. Kids can watch their virtual coding turn into tangible learning experiences in real time as Dash, with its performance and multiple sensors, interacts with and responds to its surroundings.
