My Project

This item will allow me create a more hands on environment by providing my students a second camera to create phenomenal visual art projects. Last year I used my own personal camera split between 140 students - an extra camera in the classroom would increase hands on engagement and faster project completions.

This project encourages students to explore their surroundings creatively, practice technical skills, and express their personal perspectives through visual media.

Throughout the year each student selects a theme or aspect of daily life to focus on. Themes can include:

• "A Day at School"

• "Hobbies and Interests"

• "Family Traditions"

• "A Local Event or Celebration"

• “Content, Concept, and Composition”

My students are special because I attempt to provide them with tools to think outside of ordinary composition. I challenge them to visualize and convey meaning photos that will intrigue the audience.
