This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank You for supporting our teachers. Teachers are currently learning how to implement counting collection in their classroom and how to support students with math. This is a great opportunity to support teachers as they grow professionally with the following two books: Counting Collections and Choral Counting and Children's Mathematics, Second Edition: Cognitively Guided Instruction. By supporting teachers, you will also be supporting students. Students will be solving math problems using their intuitive understanding of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Students will also be engaged with ideas of numbers and operations and mathematical reasoning through counting.
