This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom, I’ve created a special tradition that adds a touch of excitement and motivation to our week. When students work hard on their assignments or treat each other with kindness, they earn raffle tickets as a reward. Each ticket represents a moment of effort or a kind action, and it goes into a special box that holds the potential for a Friday surprise.

On Friday afternoons, the energy in the room is palpable.

The entire class eagerly drumrolls on their desks, beaming with anticipation as we prepare to draw names from the box. It's a moment everyone looks forward to—wondering which classmates will be chosen and what prize they might win. This weekly ritual not only motivates students to do their best but also fosters a strong sense of community and excitement about positive behavior. Your support helps make these moments possible!
