My Project

As a Reading Intervention/Prevention Teacher, I will be given extra hours to work with students at school. With these hours, I will do a book club for second-grade students to stay after school for an hour each week to read books on their reading level. I want to provide motivational prizes like Mochi Squishy Toys, Fidget Toys, Pop Bracelets and more for them to try hard to read and concentrate. After passing three quizzes, they will move up a level using an online program called Accelerated Reader. Every time they move up a level, I want to give them a prize to keep going.

These small party favor prizes will motivate them to stay after school and read to become better readers.
