This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Having a comfortable and peaceful environment is so important when we try to focus on something, especially when we focus on a test. Help my students focus!

My students are second graders who are enthusiastic about learning and love school.

As with most seven year olds, my students at times have difficulty focusing and keeping their eyes on their own papers when necessary. I want to help them stay focused on their own work and also feel comfortable in their own private space.

My Project

My students need privacy partitions, an a timer to aid in creating a comfortable testing environment. It is important for my students to be able to focus on their work and since they are so young it is often difficult to expect them to do that on their own. Therefore, I would like each student to have a privacy board so that they can have a private space during assessments. The labels and folders will help in organizing assessments and classwork so, my students can easily get to the material they need in a timely matter. This will also help in creating a conducive testing environment.
