My Project

Our students receive 99% of free school lunch. Most of them live in a motel and they face challenges in health and wellness everyday. They see their family, friends and neighbors suffer because of homelessness and mental health challenges. As our school is striving to create a nurturing and conducive environment for our community, I am reaching out to seek your support for wellness in our school neighboring community. In order to promote their health and well-being, we are requesting donations for essential items such as lotion, thermometers, wipes, floss, roll on for boys, sunscreen, snacks, cards, stress balls, stress busters, goodie bags to help our students promote wellness within their peers in the school and also in their neighboring community. These items play a crucial role in ensuring that all our student population outside of our classroom have access to basic healthcare and nutrition while they pursue their education. When someone gets sick outside of our class, our students are planning to send home a get well soon card with the heart shaped stress ball. The person could be their neighbor, parent, aunt, an elderly home person, a homeless person.

In today's fast-paced world, it's essential to create an environment where students learn to care for others and they also feel cared for, and your support will play a vital role in achieving this goal.

Together, we can make a significant impact on the overall well-being of our school neighboring community. Your generous contributions will go a long way in fostering a healthy and comfortable atmosphere for our student body, their families and their neighboring community, enabling them to focus on their studies and personal growth. We appreciate your consideration and support in making a positive impact on the well-being of the young minds in our community.
