My Project

The art supplies I’m requesting—gel plates, barens, and watercolor sets—will provide students with hands-on experience in printmaking and painting, allowing them to explore how to create, refine, and replicate their artwork. These tools will make a difference by teaching students the iterative process of revising their work, seeing their ideas evolve, and building confidence in their creativity.

My goals for this project are to help students understand the value of revising and refining their art, encouraging them to embrace experimentation and persistence in their creative journey.

Through these experiences, students will develop a growth mindset and learn the importance of taking risks and overcoming challenges in their artistic process.

What makes my students special is their readiness to learn and willingness to take risks. They approach new challenges with enthusiasm and resilience, leaning into the hard work of developing new skills. These supplies will give them the opportunity to push their boundaries and achieve something they can be proud of.

Ms. Conner will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by May 8.
