Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I was able to incorporate into our curriculum a printmaking class. We are currently working with linoleum carving and we will move into wood carving on the second half of the semester. Unfortunately, the brand new carving tools are not sharp at all, and we are in need of sharpener for the woodcut tools.
Secondly, I want my students to explore, compare and contrast the different results and feeling that you can obtain with water-base vs oil-base ink.
Luckily, we have already a variety of paper to work with.
