My Students

My students range from kindergarten to sixth grade and each and every one of them come to art class enthusiastic and excited about the art they are about to create. My students love to give their ideas for topics for art lessons or mediums they would like to try.

When passing in the hall, students are so eager to find out what we will be doing next and they love to stand and admire all the artwork that is on display.

My Project

My students have had experience creating basic printmaking works of art using foam and markers, but they are ready to take the next step. Using these materials they will be able to create monoprints and block prints.

Imagine creating a piece of art and now having the power to print it multiple times using different colors to create varying artworks and displays.

These materials will not only enhance their printmaking skills, they will open up new creative opportunities for the students and teach them the entire process from designing, carving, printing, cleaning up and displaying!
