This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have classes of students from kindergarten through fifth grade who require a highly structured educational environment to be successful in school. We use a lot of visuals and hands-on materials to support them and black and white printed worksheets/packets do not help My students. Colored printed worksheets would better help my students succeed in the lesson being taught as English Language Learners need a lot of visual words with pictures to learn and master the English Language. Colored printed worksheets increase attention spans, learning and retention and reading can boost comprehension. I only have a black and white printer that was given to me and went out to buy my own colored printer to better my students academic needs.
