Printing Student Work

My students need differentiated worksheets during any particular lesson. In order to ensure differentiated instruction based on student having access, a printer in the classroom will allow for direct instruction intervention.

My Students

My 8th grade math class is a space were students can explore, discover and investigate various phenomenons and concepts in math. Students will understand and explore many of the pre-algebraic math skills needed for success in their algebraic classes as well as discover how these things can relate to real world situations. Some students struggle with their understanding of the math skills. Yet, with use of math investigations, all students, no matter their entry level, are able to investigate a feature of a math skills as a starting point of student engagement.

My students are able to rise above stereotypes placed before them and continually prove that they are able to succeed with math and other S.T.E.M topics.

They continually do what is necessary to rise above the obstacles they face with math and continue to surprise themselves as they steadily become mathematicians in the making.

My Project

This piece of equipment will allow teaching staff to print differentiated worksheets for students who need remediation of skills required for the 8th grade.

Printing work for the students in real time will provide me with the opportunity to print out items for my pull out group who are showcasing signs of a major unanticipated math misconception.

I would also be able to print colored copies (that are not available in my school) which help students distinguish the difference between different quantities that are being translated or graphed on the coordinate plane along with other supports and provides scaffolds for the students.
