Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a vibrant and enthusiastic group of 24 students in 4th grade. My students are curious, creative, and eager to learn. We explore a wide range of subjects, from reading and writing to math, science, and social studies. However, access to printed materials is limited, making it challenging to provide the hands-on learning experiences my students deserve. Many of my students come from low-income families and depend on school resources. Providing them with take-home materials for extra practice or to share with their families is often difficult. My goal is to be able to provide materials that support their individual learning needs.
