My Project

I would like to kindly request support in obtaining a classroom printer, ink, and paper to better serve my incredible students. As a teacher at a Priority 3 school, I work with English Language Development and English Language Arts students who rely heavily on printed materials to support their learning. My ELD students benefit immensely from worksheets, printed visuals, and scaffolded writing supports that help them develop language proficiency. For my ELA students, I frequently use printed resources such as notes, quizzes, and engaging activities to enhance their comprehension and critical thinking. However, with only one shared printer in the main office and limited resources, I often find myself purchasing paper out of pocket to ensure my students have access to essential printed materials. My goal is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where all students, regardless of their starting point, feel prepared and inspired to learn.

Having a dedicated printer in the classroom would allow me to efficiently provide engaging activities, worksheets, and scaffolded materials to support the diverse needs of my students.

What makes my students truly special is their determination and willingness to embrace challenges. Many of my ELD students are navigating the complexities of a new language and culture, while my ELA students are eager to sharpen their skills through interactive and hands-on learning. With the right tools, I can empower all of them to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.
