My Project

I work in a very unique placement with a large special education population in a comprehensive high school in Staten Island, NY. As a speech therapist/speech teacher, I am able to provide support for students in a special way. With small group instruction, I am able to provide support that can be differentiated to each students' needs. Having access to a personal printer will allow me to easily support my students' goals. My students can benefit tremendously from visual cues, and visual graphic organizers. These can aid in their verbal and written expression to make them successful with their academic and life skills.
