Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is located in the heart of the city of Houston, Texas. Last year, we were hit by the powerful Hurricane Harvey and destroyed not only the dreams of many families, but their belongings.

My students were strongly impacted by Hurricane Harvey that had our city in almost complete darkness over a period of four days.

With all of these fears, I know that they all are still very capable students; I believe without any doubt that they will be able to master any learning concept.

Right now my Kindergarteners are still struggling to log into their computers, but I am confident that they will be able to do it eventually.

My Project

Printing has become very limited resource in my school. Administrators say that we have to limit our amount of copies because it has turned out to be very expensive. We, the teachers, have to wait in line to make copies for our students almost daily.

The wireless printer will help me to solve the problem with printing and it will also allow me to print even from my phone.

With this resource, my students will have the chance to get the prints they need to cope with some of our daily academic needs. In addition, I will obtain the copies I need for my biweekly or monthly reports on student data.
