My Project

As educators, our students go through thousands of printed pages a school year. But having to wait for copies delays the accessibility and quality of education we know our can have students. We are asking for some supplies that are essential for our classroom to thrive.

We want to go from good enough to great!

Having a printer in the classroom will help reinforce communication with parents by sharing information that students can backpack home, we will be able to print curriculum extensions to enrich our students learning and reteaches to help support our students that need a little extra push. We will also be able to print our students work and writing pieces for display in the classroom. The ink cartridge will ensure that we have enough supply to last us.

In the world of technology, our school is able to provide students with 1:1 laptops to engage students in reading and math. However, not all students have headphones. So having a class set will ensure that all students can stay focused on what they are listening to without disrupting each other.

Lastly, the tennis balls for chairs will help minimize noise in the classroom. As we know, keeping our chairs pushed in helps maintain order and safety in the classroom. Some of the chairs are too large for our students to pick up, which means they have to drag it on the floor. This causes a lot of noise and distraction to friends who are working hard around the classroom.

My third graders are eager to learn. They show it every day with their enthusiasm and smiles we receive in the morning at arrivals, their follow up questions, and their participation in the classroom. Help us, help our students achieve everything at their finger tips!
