Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students have grown up in an inner-city; many of these children face poverty, violence, and obscenities of life on a daily basis that are well beyond what most of us could not imagine. Despite all of this, they come to school ready to expand their minds and continue to explore. My students continue to be hopeful and strive for their very best.

They are always looking to learn new things and explore different subjects more in-depth; they come to school hungry for knowledge trying to do their best to learn as I try to do my best to give them a good education and an introduction to the American way of life.

Our school has limited resources, and the parents have even less, so anything that donors can do is so very appreciated.

These children deserve the best and I plan to keep doing my best to provide them with the skills and tools they need to be successful on their journey in life after leaving my classroom!

My Project

This year I will be working with around 100 students ranging from kindergarten to 3rd grade! The students are eager to learn after many students have not been back in the classroom since before COVID. Working with a variety of grade levels also creates a need for more resources. Unfortunately, the school and the students have very limited resources.

Having a reliable and functioning printer will be a great addition to my classroom in aiding my student's learning.

This printer will be used to print valuable resources for the students all year long!
