My Students

My students are precious gems. They are vibrant, inspiring and ambitious young people. I am always amazed at how much strength they have through difficult times. As a teacher in a Title I school in Brooklyn, I am not just a teacher in the classroom. They require so much more than a teacher. I want them to have a successful year with the equipment needed to jump start the year 2019. My students are special because they are hard workers.

My Project

This printer will give my students the opportunity to printer their work in the classroom and be able to take it home also. We have been creating various computer science projects and math projects but we are unable to print our work. The work is often saved on a flash drive and kept by me. I want the students to be able to take ownership of their project and physically see it in their hands. Most of the students do not have a flash drive or have computers at home. Therefore, I believe this will be an addition to our class.
