Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Did every student in your past classrooms have access to computers or printers? Can you imagine how embarrassed a student may feel when asked to print out their work when they do not have access to a computer or printer?

My students represent a diverse demographic of New York City children.

My students are entering their 1st year of high school, which is a very important year as they transition/ prepare for not only high school, but college as well. My goal is to help them all make a successful transition to a more rigorous workload.

My Project

The resources I am requesting can be very beneficial to my students. No longer will my students have to worry about where or how they will print out their student work, but they will also be able to save electronic copies of their handwritten work. This is important as they can use this to help keep track of their work not only in my classroom but throughout high school.

This project is very important as it has short-term and long-term benefits for my students.

Having the resources available inside their classroom to print out their work as well as making electronic versions of their handwritten student work will help my students tremendously as they transition to high school.
