Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are spectacular, engaged learners. They attend an elementary school in our district. My students come from a low-income community where there is a significant financial and education gap. They are excited and happy to arrive at school and receive love and support from their learning community. They are extremely special to me because they are genuinely excited to come to school every day to learn and grow, appreciate the experiences they share together, and are wonderful leaders.

By providing my classroom with a printer, my students will have the ability to print resources, activities, and assignments during whole group instruction, small group activities, and differentiated instruction.

They love collaborating, sharing their ideas, helping each other, being creative, and publishing their writing. The printer will also allow students to print their writing, as well as their projects, so they can publish and display them with pride in the classroom.

The printer will also provide me (the teacher) the ability to print resources for lessons inside the classroom, quickly print extra copies of worksheets for students, and scan documents, resources, and student work to post on Google Classroom and Class Dojo or to make digital copies.
