My Students

Thank you for visiting our DonorsChoose.org Class. Our 25 adorable New York City Department of Education k students have high hopes and dreams for their future. They love art, reading, learning how to write and read, independent center time, and in our free time dance! Our school doesn't supply the fun equipment needed to give our students the educational technology they deserve. Each day we create new projects that go along with what was taught in class However we need to immerse them into the real world by bringing books to life via new technology. Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge. Our students are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world. My students can't wait to learn how to read, write and create this year with new technology in our classroom!

My Project

With a new colored printer students in my kindergarten class will be able learn in color. Children love to see their work printed in color. I can use the color printer to differentiate learning for students that need directions or visual cues in color. My students will be able to get color copies to take home with them as well. My students will be able to create colorful projects which they will be able to share with other classes on our bulletin board. Children are more likely to learn and read more when writing is colorful and enjoyable to read.
