This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students need, and want, real life experiences in order to complement their daily activities in class. We want to explore the world of publishing in their English classroom, yet we do not have a working printer!

A printer in an English classroom is a complete game changer!

We will be able to print out our work, and even make copies of our work to post in the classroom. The work will be color coded so everyone is invested in the progress of the class. Over the course of mere weeks, students will be able to visually see their progress right in front of them.

Technology is often overlooked, yet the need for a printer in our classroom is extraordinary. The colorful paper will help the students to keep track of which work is theirs, as well as to keep track of how far along in terms of drafts they are.
