Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

It will be my students' first year back in the classroom after virtual learning and they are so excited to be back in the classroom. My students have various learning needs from needing English Language Learner support to needing accommodations to help them understand the content at their grade level. They are all hardworking and excited to receive in person support in order to help them accomplish their academic and social emotional goals.

My Project

The printer will be used to help students print assignments and other resources to help them reach their classroom goals. For example, students who do not have a printer at home, will be able to access the printer in my classroom in order to print homework assignments and other classroom resources. During the first week of school, students needed me to help them reprint class schedules that were color coded in order to help them navigate their classes. I will make sure to communicate that lack of technology at home should not prevent them from getting the resources they need to succeed in school.
