Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My second grade students are smart, amazing and hard working. They have a thirst for learning and are always looking for always to enhance their learning. They enjoy setting their own learning goals and achieving those goals.

My students love to learn, read, and create.

I teach a 2nd grade classroom with 7 boys and 14 girls whose parents do not have the financial resources to provide them with additional school supplies.

My Project

One year ago our lives as teachers and students changed. My students have been stuck at home due to the coronavirus pandemic for one year. Students have been facing emotional and psychological challenges, as well as insufficient access to technology that is preventing them from successfully accessing online learning. I attempt to help every student face the challenge by providing them with the paper resources they need to continue learning. This printer will allow me to print supplemental materials and packets for the students to complete.

I will print individual work packets to mail home to my students which include visual resources, worksheets, projects and printable stories.
