Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach a wonderful gifted class of amazing third-grade students in a K- 8 center Title I, IB Magnet school located in Miami-Dade County. My students are all about why, how, where and when. They are truly an engaged group of students.

Unfortunately, without outside support, the students and I will be left without working technology.

My students thrive on learning and technology, and they are truly eager to learn. They are constantly asking questions, so I turn to technology as much as possible for an additional engagement since not all homes have these resources.

My Project

Our classroom printer is a very important part of our classroom. The students truly enjoy being able to print and share their projects and reports and display them in the hallway. By having ink for our printers, the students will be able to share their work.

Additionally, the ink will also be used to print teacher made assignments and assessments for the week, notes to parents, and the teacher made class assignments and tests and differentiated class activities.

By helping fund this project, you will be helping my class tremendously. Our classroom copier makes a world of difference in our classroom.
