My Students

My students are very excited and bright learners. They are from a low SES community where we do whatever it takes to make things happen. Most students are of ethnic decent, with the majority being African American and Latino. My school has gone through many transitions within the last several years in terms of administration and student enrollment. My students now have a bright future ahead of them with a new jovial and innovative principal and physical education teacher. My students come from a community where parents are eager to work with teachers and other stakeholders in order to provide the best education for their children with limited to no funding. The neighborhood is rough, but our school stands as the bright light and safe haven for our students.

My Project

This printer and ink will make a significant difference in my students' learning because the content that they are learning will be disseminated visually on paper as a result of having this printer.

My students are acquiring a great deal of knowledge in physical education.

Having the information printed and posted in the gym and also available for them to take home will help the students to excel in our physical education class.

Without this printer, my students' lives are more hectic because they have to write more in Physical Education as opposed to having the information printed for them to take home. With this printer, my students will be less sedentary and have more fun, because they will spend less time writing and more time moving.
