My Students

I am a 1st-grade teacher in Queens, N.Y. I have 15 curious, enthusiastic, and creative students in my class. As you may or may not have been aware, Elmhurst, Queens was one of the hardest-hit areas during the pandemic in 2020 also known as the epicenter of New York City. This has greatly impacted the lives of my students.

My students are filled with a love for learning that you can't even imagine!

As their teacher, I would love nothing more than to see their little minds flourish this year. Part of watching this magic unfold in my class is to be able to engage with families and print resources for them to bring home.

My Project

My students will be able to take what they learn in school and share it with their families at home by using resources printed in the classroom. This will bridge the gap between home and school and connect families with what is happening in the classroom. Being able to print instantly throughout the day will be so helpful rather than submitting copies and sometimes waiting days to get them back.

Aside from just helping families, resources can also be printed for use in the classroom as supplemental learning materials for my students.
