Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work in a very high needs school in the Bronx. We have limited access to learning tools and books. I am looking for ways to make learning more accessible to my students. My students are in an Integrated Co-Teaching classroom. They are an exciting group of mixed interest, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are reading above their grade level and others are struggling to sound out words and make meaning of what they are reading. My goal as a teacher is to meet students where they are and motivate them to go above and beyond.

These projects will allow me to bring exciting and educational projects to the families in our school community to foster the love of learning and expose them to new ideas.

With your help, I can make my students more well rounded.

My Project

All the students have be working hard to excel in math. A printer will allow me to print different math centers to help them achieve their goals of becoming successful at math.

The printer for my class will help prepare the students for exciting creative centers and lessons that will engage every student to think critically and solve problems.

Having the ability to see concrete samples and written words will allow for a smooth learning environment that will help each and every student maximize their learning.

My students will be equipped with the essential materials that is needed to improve their Math skills and ensure growth by the end of the year.
