Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is designed for my advanced 8th grade art class. I would like to introduce the print making process to them. Many students have never had the opportunity to make any hand crafted prints. Technology has turned this type of process into a forgotten art form that I would like our student body to experience.
Students will learn the about the print making process by using tools to carve out designs on linoleum and create multiple paper prints.
This advanced art class will be making multiple greeting cards throughout the year with different themes in mind.
