My Project

Art is one of the most powerful tools for self-expression and creativity and in our middle school, students are ready to explore the complex and creative art of printmaking! Printmaking offers a unique and engaging way for students to build their understanding of color and design whilst creating beautiful works of art...that can be reproduced and even produced on clothing, bags and the like.

Currently our art department lacks the essential materials to introduce printmaking techniques like linocut, monoprint and block printing to students.

This project aims to provide Printmaking Classroom Kit, Rubber Stamp Carving Blocks, LEGO DOTS Adhesive Patches, and other necessary tools and materials for printmaking so that every student ahs the opportunity to experience this engaging and educational art form.

With these materials, students will learn to create their own prints using various techniques, from carving their own linoleum blocks to creating monoprints and other unique impressions. Printmaking allows students to dabble in composition, color and texture while also introducing them to the rich history and traditions of print-based art.

By donating to this project, you are helping provide students with the tools they need to learn and grow as young artists. Your donations not only helps teach them the rad world of print making, but allows them to view art and design through a creative lense.
