Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am seeking funding for a sublimation printer to enhance the learning experience in our STEM class. With this equipment, students will have the opportunity to design and create custom mugs, allowing them to apply their knowledge of technology, design, and engineering principles in a hands-on, creative project. The printer will provide a unique opportunity for students to learn about digital printing, materials science, and the intersection of art and technology. This project will foster innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, while giving students a tangible product they can be proud of. With my sublimation printer, I can create vibrant and custom materials for Chinese New Year celebrations, such as personalized decorations, greeting cards, and festive apparel. I plan to design unique, culturally inspired prints featuring traditional symbols like lanterns, dragons, and the zodiac animal for the year. These items will be perfect for my students to use as part of their creative projects, helping them connect with the cultural significance of the holiday.
