My Project

I am asking for a set of Gelli Printing Plates for my students to experience a variety of materials and experiences. My students love learning new and fun techniques. They will love learning the process of printing with Gelli plates because it is art room magic.

Gelli plates allow students to experiment with ink, paints, and materials to create innovative and creative works of art!

Gelli printing is a form of monoprinting (which means one print). It allows for the students to create a unique piece of art they will not be like any other. It allows for layering of colors and designs which is so much fun. We will even learn about how to transfer images to the plates for printing. My students will be taught to properly care for the Gelli plates so that they will be used for years to come.
