My Students

My students are composed of diverse children with diverse economic, social, and ethnic backgrounds. I have many students who speak a second language at home, such as Spanish, Armenian, or Asian.

My students come from all walks of life, but they deserve an equal opportunity to have resources available to them for their education.

My school is a close-knit community with strong parent support, dedicated teachers, and has the child's interest in mind.

My Project

Students spent the last year reading from screens and using limited printed resources at home. I hope to offer students as many different ways to practice their reading skills, and I'm hoping to make one of the magazines!

I was hoping you could help me give my students the gift of reading by print by supporting my Scholastic Magazine project!

Scholastic magazines are a great way to engage students in reading through current events and colorful illustrations.

I love introducing my students to different types of reading material. Many first graders have never read a magazine, and please help support my project so my students can start enjoying magazine articles!
