My Project

Movement is imperative for students to own their environment, identifying necessary tools, and working to set up their learning conditions to best suit their needs. Our montessori children thrive in self-directed activities with hands-on learning and collaborative play. They make choices in their learning which encourages personal accountability using their teacher as a resource

We are looking to bring wildlife to our urban environment.

Our school is located in the city and we are studying birds. We would like to create bird feeders to attract birds in order to observe their wings, feathers, behaviors and flights. Our primary students will identify birds with the books provided in the grant
