Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a small football program in East Harlem made up of 5 small schools. We do not have a lot of resources for equipment and most of our students are new to the game of football. We do not have our own field and have to practice on a beat up grass field at a local park which takes a toll on our footballs. We just finished our recent season with a record of 4-4 and lost a tough game in the playoffs. We are looking forward to next season and are beginning the process of making sure we have the resources we need to be successful.

We would love some leather game footballs.
