Prevent Bullying by Spreading Kindness

Help me give my students poster making supplies, and kindness shirts to promote positivity, and help squash bullying at our school.

My Project

Ever since Covid-19 hit the world, it seems people don't know how to communicate courteously with one another. This has led to a larger bullying problem within our school. When students are hurt or angry they don't have the right words to properly communicate their feelings, so they use words and actions to make people feel the same way they feel, or do what others do to them.

My Aloha Club will be putting up kindness posters and handing out positive affirmation bracelets to reinforce that kindness outweighs negativity.

I want to teach my students that feelings can be big, and negative ones can feel even bigger. It's okay to feel them, but it's not okay to take it out on others. At the same time, I also want my students to know that kindness is contagious, and it can spread one person at a time. That's why we need poster-making materials so we can spread positivity around campus with posters we can hold before school once a week until Spring Break, and positive affirmation bracelets we can hand out to students and community members to remind them they are special and loved. The shirts are for my students so they can be seen.
