This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have diverse language needs. Many are English language learners, and some are exposed to many languages in their home environment. They acquire language through active listening, modeling, and interactive play based activities. Dramatic play contributes to cognitive, social-emotional, and language development. Please support my pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and first-grade students with pretend play skill development through themed activities. Help me support students act out a variety of roles that reflect routine activities.
There is a direct connection between social skills, language acquisition, and communication development.
I hope that my students will engage in imaginative narratives and role-play through these materials.
